Ontario Test Scores Continue to Rise

“Ontario students continue to improve their achievement levels, with 71 per cent of Grade 3 and 6 students meeting or exceeding the provincial standard in reading, writing and math.

The latest test scores from the¬†Education Quality and Accountability Office¬†(EQAO) show more students than ever are gaining the skills they need for success in school and beyond. The number of students reaching the provincial standard has increased one percentage point compared to 2011-12 levels and 17 percentage points in comparison to 2002-03 levels, meaning over 150,000 more elementary students are reaching the standard than would have in 2002-03.”
