Undergraduate Programs

Canadian and US universities offer a wide range of internationally recognized undergraduate programs. The information below serves only as a guide to common degrees and requirements.

Prospective applicants should be aware that programs and admission requirements vary amongst universities. Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements can enrol in the university foundation program to upgrade their skills and academic standing. CEN can provide support with the preparation of a study pathway which facilitates admission into such programs.

 

DIPLOMA PROGRAMS

For students wishing to get a head start in their career a diploma program is the way to go. With programs available in all major subjects, students can enrol in a practical (hands-on) 2 or 3 year program. Many diploma programs lead to excellent careers with high paying jobs such as: aircraft technician, automotive technician, culinary arts (chef school), dental hygiene, early-childhood education, financial planning, information technology, interior design, massage therapy, medical support worker, network administrator, paralegal, personal support worker and MORE.

*Some diploma programs combined with work experience may qualify for credit in a Bachelor’s Degree Program.

BACHELOR'S DEGREE PROGRAMS (BSc, BA, BBA/BComm)

Bachelor’s Degree Programs are four year undergraduate programs that provide foundation knowledge in various disciplines. Bachelor of Arts (BA), Science (BSc.) and Business Administration (BBA) Programs are available in various disciplines including but not limited to: Economics, English, Psychology, Computer Science, Biology, and Business.

Admission Requirements
- High School Completion (or equivalent)
- English Proficiency: TOEFL 80 IBT, IELTS 6.5, CELPIP 4L, or LPI 4 with 50%+ in every other part


Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements can enroll in a university preparation or foundations program to upgrade their English or academic standing.

Start Dates
Programs start every year in September and some programs have flexible start dates in January and May as well.

Tuition:
$9,500 to $18,000 per year

PROFESSIONAL UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS (BSc, BEng, BA, BArch)

Professional undergraduate degree programs may be awarded as a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science. Disciplines include but not limited to: Engineering (mechanical, computer, electrical, civil, and structural), Architecture, Accounting, Nursing, Pharmacy, Dietetics, Social work, and Occupational therapy. Each specialty has specific admission requirements. Additional admission information can be provided on an individual basis during the application process.

Start Dates
Professional Bachelor’s Degree Programs start every year in September, usually with no flexibility in start dates.

Tuition:
$10,000 to $20,000 per year
